WHAT WE OFFER

In-office therapy

We work in an integrative approach which combines elements of theory and techniques from various therapeutic approaches. Such integration allows for some flexibility in working with the patient. It is not the patient who adapts to the rigid framework of one approach, but the therapy that is individually adapted to the patient.

This is the biggest advantage of this approach because each of us is different, experiences, learns and processes information differently. Therefore, the intention of the integrative therapist will be to get to know the patient thoroughly and to match the appropriate techniques that will work best in working on the presented difficulties.

What can I expect ?

During stationary therapy, you can expect a lot of emphasis on the therapist-patient relationship, freedom not only in the selection of techniques but also in the frequency of meetings or the number of sessions, as well as being perceived as an expert on yourself and your problems. The therapist will include not only various techniques in the therapeutic process, but also your feelings and observations about your difficulties.

Type of work

Integrative therapy avoids rigid frameworks, which means that the therapist does not make an appointment with the patient for a specific number of visits, but rather to achieve a specific goal, which will mean the end of therapy. In addition, this form of therapy focuses primarily on the relationship with the patient, and not only on the presented problem. This means that learning techniques for dealing with difficulties is one part of therapy, along with other elements such as developing self-awareness or working on past experiences.

This type of therapeutic work requires from the patient an effort to reflect on the topics discussed during the meetings, as well as openness towards the therapist. These elements naturally develop from meeting to meeting.
